OMG that is going to be an absolutely gorgeous quilt when it's finished. I love your colors, especially with the black background and purple sashing strips and 9-patch. What an unusual border treatment, love it.

You do GREAT piecing, and you choose very complicated blocks. I'm looking forward to the finished product! Nice to see one ofyour quilts on the board again.

Hi,
My name is Johnna and I am new to this forum and fairly new to quilting. Are the stars on your quilt paper pieced? I have been thinking about trying to make some stars for 6 blocks in a quilt. Your colors are gorgeous ad your work is beautiful.

The stars are paper pieced from the CD/book Mariner's Compass Stars. The sashing and corner setting is from the book Stellar Quilts. It's very simple and based on 1" finished size for the blocks and sashing.

Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! This is an absolutely beautiful quilt. I love the pattern and the colors are gorgeous. Can't wait to see it when it's finished. Is it paper pieced or your own design? It's really beautiful!!!

This is absolutely breathtaking. I would have never put those colors together but they are unbelievable...
This picuture is going into my "someday when I get good" file.

I am in awe of how complex and involved your stars are....

The recipient of this quilt is one lucky person.
