I like borders because they frame the quilt making it a work of art.

I'm working on a similar pattern, also scrappy, and I don't plan to have a border. I think the real question is whether the quilt is already the size you want.

That is a great scrappy. If I had to make it larger, I would put a plain border, however I love it like it is.

If you want it bigger, then put on borders. Otherwise just bind as is.

I love this quilt.......BEAUTIFUL! I would border it in RED! would go well with your piecing and bring out more colors!

you did a great job. Borders are meant to give the eye a place to rest and with a quilt this busy, I would give it a border. Super job

A border would finish it nicely. Looks great without, but would look outstanding with. Your choice!

I think borders, but I'm not sure 4 inch is larger enough. I would do larger and trim after quilting.
