One of the nicest bargello's I've seen. You should be very pleased with yourself.

I've made six bargellos because I love them so. But Eileen Wright's book is the best one ever. Bargellos look way more complicated than they really are. If you've never made one and want to, I suggest you start with a scrappy bargello from www.quiltville.com and get the hang of it. From there, all others are made basically the same. The hardest part of this was getting 24 colors that my husband and I liked. Thank goodness that was not my job! My husband mixes ink for a living and knows his colors so he picked out the fabrics!! I only changed the position of two once I started the process. We choose this color set because we wanted to do our bedroom in golds and bronzes... I am a picture framer and had already started collecting art to match. House on the market right now, so the whole effect won't come together until we get settled in the next house.

Your quilt is amazing. I love the swaying patterns of bargello. I have made a couple and each one is really special to me.
