    Default carrots from MIssouri Star tute

    Another thread got me started on making these little carrots. The tutorial calls for a wedge ruler - which I don't have and my local quilt shop does not carry. So .. I just made up a triange based on the angles on my mat and ruler. Worked fine. They are different sizes based on my experiments, but I'm okay with that. The basket is for my secret pal at church.

    Very cute! I have been kicking the idea around in my head and thought I might put a drawstring at the top of the carrot instead of sewing it shut. I think they would be cute stuffed with foil covered eggs from the Easter Bunny.
