Default FINALLY finished... but pay no attention to that man behind the quilt!

I fell in love with this fabric at a quilt show last year. I started this (my second pieced quilt) in January. The quilted border was a bear and took forever, so I think I'll see if Craftsy has a class on quilting with a walking foot. This is an easy pattern called Austin Blues, and the top went together pretty quickly. I couldn't have done it without my BFF, Elmer's Washable School Glue! Not a single pin touched this quilt, and I'll never pin again. Next Christmas, this quilt will go to a teen girl at our local abuse shelter.

And that man behind the cur...I mean quilt is my DH, Jeff, who is a charming enabler, but doesn't understand why I need more fabric. Don't I have a shelf full all ready?

Your quilt is beautiful, just love yellow and black combos. Your quilting is wonderful, the border design is perfect and I am impressed that you did this on your dsm with a walking foot. Nice job.

very pretty quilt! I love yellow! Can you share your process using the Elmer's glue? Did you start in the middle and work your towards the corners? Does it wash out nicely? I think I'd like to give it a try sometime.

Great quilt and quilting! Does the glue dry overnight?
