    The belt is downright anemic at best. She is going to end up with a leather belt eventually. I am going to use the base as a template to create a wood treadle top that will fit on the 1893 treadle irons I have. Another summer project, LOL

    Steve, Hint taken! I do not have a F&R and sure would appreciate owning one (I really like German, HC, TS machines). However, I have 18 machines at last count. Fourteen are on permanent tables or in cabinets. Not that that matters for a HC. But, I don't think I can convince hubby that another one should come in the house. I am sure whoever gets it will be happy!

    Ya should not let hubby ever know how many machines you have. Easier to sneak in another one that way.
