Hope everyone had a happy Easter. Tomorrow I hope will be even better for me, since it's my birthday, and also I have a new machine coming to finish all those quilts that need quilting! While on the Craftsy cruise last week, I bought one of the machines we used in class, namely a Janome Horizon MC 8900 QCP. Hoping it arrives tomorrow! I've finished the top of the table runner, and am about to sandwich it, using fabric D for the backing (I had plenty left over).

There was a bit of a problem when attaching the long side pieces, as they were about an inch short! I solved the problem by using a left over CD combos on one end of each piece. I'll post pics when I get the entire piece finished.

Pat H, did you meet 2 nice ladies named Carol and Dana on the cruise? They were teaching classes. They are also involved with the Irish quilt I am doing.

    Pat H,

I take it there were no cruise ship malfunctions on your trip? I would have been afraid to go on a cruise with all the problems they've had lately ... and I'm slightly claustrophbic!

Glad you had a good time!

Pam, was that Carol Ann Waugh, by any chance? She's the only Carol that taught classes. And yes, I think there was a Dana there. this was the cruise out of New Orleans on the Navigator.

No malfunctions, IBQLTN, at least not that I know of. It wasn't a Carnival ship!

Now I am soo confusted, I just found the train ride today and was trying to print out the directions so I could pull my fabric and get started but here your saying, the little pieces needed to be made from A and C and that is what I have printed out plus the fact there needs to be 6 of them not 3. Is this correct??? Please help
