My favorite was my first quilt I made. It was all half square triangles in shades of blue, brown, green, beige. It turned out really neat and I gave it away in a drawing at my family reunion last year to a family member.

My favourite is the next one, too many mistakes in the last one.

Every time I start a new quilt/project, it becomes my new favorite!

Mine too, unless it starts going horribly wrong.

I loved making the two Sunbonnet Sue quilts that I did. Sadly I gave both away so have no pictures. I'm going to make my own this fall though.

I think my favorite is the picture quilt I made for my son - he's had it now for 2 years and will not let me remove it from his room..... he is 19 now and has asked when I am going to make one of his truck??!!!!

I think my favorite is the first quilt I ever made, a not-all-that-pretty rail fence made for my older daughter. It's the quilt that taught me I can do this and now has become the main focus of my life, defining who I am. No pictures of it unfortunately.

My "recent" favorite is the wool batted, big stitch hand-quilted quilt that lives on my bed. I pieced it years and years ago and finished quilting it, finally, in 2009. I just love the theme fabric, the way the quilt feels, the way it drapes, the way the quilting looks, just everything! I just wish it were a "fancier" pieced quilt....I'd never do one with such large, simple blocks these days.

I've been making quilts for 40 years, and guess what my favorite project has been...
    http://kalamaquilts.blogspot.com/2008/12/napkins.html
I have an stack about about 60, use 3 or 4 a day, and every single time I get one out or fold them coming out of the dryer they make me smile. The size I made are completely sufficient, but they 'feel' scant. If I ever do more I'll make them 2" larger.

    Great projects on this thread!
