    You 'fret' too much. The quilt is wonderful and NO ONE knows but you. I am pretty sure that if I would have made quilt pattern I would have bordered just as you did.

    I think it is absolutely gorgeous the way it is. I love the colors and it will get less dirty without a white border. Borders are more often touched than the actual quilt top. Your friend will just love it!
