    I agree with QuiltnNan.....I usually use a darker outer border as for me, it frames the quilt better.

    What a pretty block, love the purple with yellow. I also like quiltnNan's idea, narrow purple, narrow yellow, then larger purple borders with purple binding. It will be gorgeous, either way.

    Yellow makes it more spring-like to me.

    I like the idea of using both the yellow and the purple too for borders. Love the design.
