Stunning work Deb. So what threads were you experimenting with and how did you end up liking them? Always on the hunt for new threads.
I also admire your courage to do the freehand crosshatching. The effect is spectacular. I would not think to try CH without a ruler but I really like the texture the free hand crooked crosshatching gives. Reminds me of loose burlap and compliments the feathers and roses quite nicely.
