Oh how I love the looks of your quilt!
ITA with the others ... #1, so the point is there ... otherwise, it looks like it's chopped off. I also might consider leaving the chain in the bottom left corner out where it goes past the angle to the right. Again, keeping it closed and complete. And it would float. I may not be explaining it right, so take a look at the one I did, and you'll get a better word picture of what I am meaning!

I'd also play with the white border ... possibly the same width as all your squares are in your Irish Chain, definitely no wider IMHO (and maybe considerably less).
And a huge ITA .... definitely mitre the corners with that beautiful border print.
