    I like #2 and I think the colors are very serene and pretty!!

    Of course you intended to go for a monochromatic effect, right?? I think it's great. I would choose the 2nd layout. If you really want to change it up, consider adding corner triangles all around each block, making the blocks square-in-a-square - - with a different color - - break it up. Still like the monochromatic look though.

    I like #1. I like the colors. Maybe because I made one like it a few years ago. Like toolazy says --it's a quilt to make you smile...mine does.

    Both are nice, and I like the fabric choice. I like setting 2 best.

    Theynaremboth beautiful but I liked number two the best.the pattern lends itself to show a bit more contrast.

    Since this quilt is for a man I vote for #1... Dramatic in spite of those nice soft colors, and I know my husband would like it.. Beautiful quilt!
