    Hello All
Sorry I have been MIA. Since having my two surgeries I ended up having some pretty severe muscle spasms once I returned to work. Well lo and behold it was due to the muscles they had to cut almost back to back. The doctor told me I have to limit my computer/tv/reading/electronic usage as much as possible to reduce the strain and let the muscles calm down and heal
I have received a lot of beautiful blocks and I will try to get pictures of them all posted soon Thank you all so very much. I will have all blocks done and home on time I promise

Also I just wanted to post a gentle reminder to be careful of the starches or washes you may use. We do have some members who are highly allergic to fragrance.

Thank you all again-you are the bestest!
    Hugs
    April

I received the last F8 to make into a block last night. Then I only need to make one for me to go in the quilt. Yah can't wait to see it. I am having issues with posting pictures to the board. I'm trying to figure it out to show you all the lovely blocks I have received. I just can't get them to upload someone said it may because of internet explorer. I'll keep working on it. I've had problem trying to post pics from my computer to my blog too.

Yes the postal service is absolutely not in sync with one another. LOL. If I had put my blocks to Canada and England in a yellow envelop I bet it would have been cheaper. I don't know what the problem is with them. I love the international folks who swap. I think about it and I may have only 3-4 but they have everyone. So I will probably still just swallow the price and send anyways.

Received this really cool block from OKDarla. I have never made this block before. I think I'll have to learn.

    Thank you

If I mailed these as a "correspondence" envelope, it was 2.75 but if it is not correspondence, then it goes as a 'package', STILL in a regular envelope, it is $6.55. I am experiencing the same thing you other gals are doing. So, the wrinkle in this is...two of the clerks talked me into shipping them as correspondence, so the one to Australia was I believe $2.50 and the one to Canada was $1.30...now, IF...and I do want you to tell me, if they don't come back to me, that IF there was postage due, you will TELL ME and I will send you the money. I did not do this to make you pay the shipping, I am just testing the waters. I believe that this is still a correspondence as all that is in there is a quilt block, which goes for the same price in the states as a regular letter. I am dismayed, like the rest of you, of the cost to ship international. If I decide to do this again, I will have to reconsider. We have 3 ladies in this group that are international and I would love to hear how all of you feel about this. You have to pay to send to us too, and postage is not marked on my envelope. Please jump in on this, I would really like to know how you all feel. ctmhjenn
I was not given a choice on if it is correspondence or "package". They all felt the envelop and made the executive decision that because I had material in there that it was a package..thus the $6.55 fee. I even pressed the block down with the iron and put a sheet a paper around it. But to no avail.. I am going to try just sending them in the yellow envelops and seeing if that is different the next time.

Oh I love all the quilts so far. LOoking good and so much fun to see.
