I am hoping to have them finished by the end of next week. End-of-semester things are creeping up on me a little faster than I'd realized.

No worries Kelly - I can remember the pressure of semester's end - and quilting is supposed to be fun.

Actually, I did some lazy pressing when I made the strip sets so when I sewed the first 6 blocks together, they were wayyyy too small and I've been procrastinating. I got all the blocks together tonight and am finishing up on the frames so hopefully by Saturday they'll be finished. We've had some really weird weather the last few weeks and it's given me a case of the don't-wanna's can't-make-me's. I needed a reason to snap out of it!

LOL - lazy pressing - love that expression and I have done it many times myself.
I am stuck on a baby quilt that just needs the binding but of course I ran out of the fabric I want to use for it and have to wait until payday to get more.
My round for my Round Robin is giving me a math headache. I know what I want to do but need figure the right sizes so it will fit. I hate it when I have to use 5/8" or 9/16" instead of 1/4"
I do have a lot of the center squares cut for Evelyn's blocks so I may get started on the centers since they will be scrappy then add the white edges and borders later.

I have everything packaged up and ready to go. I was going to print postage at home until I realized I didn't use a flat-rate envelope - so I will mail it out on Monday.

Melinda, I put my leftover strip-set scraps in there along with my first set of (unfinished) blocks that weren't quite the right size. I redid them but thought maybe if you do some monkeying, you might be able to use the first try blocks, too.

I meant to put the tag from my jelly roll in there - it was "Bliss" from Moda (I can't remember the designer) but now I'm not sure I did.

I also put a jelly roll in (minus 5 strips) of the Kona so Paula, you won't have to cut any of the white strips

Thanks Kelly - precuts are always good - and nice of you to share the smaller blocks you made.
Melinda might be able to use your smaller blocks as cornerstones in the border.
Or on the back - that would be very pretty and help tie the two sides together.

Hi Evelyn. Please do not sew them together. I plan to put sashing between each person's row, but have to wait for them to come home to make that fabric choice. Thanks for asking.
