Default Looking for Instruction on bin

I have searched for instruction on joining the two ends of a binding that has been applied by machine. This is for a charity quilt and for all the time I've spent struggling I could have done it the old fashioned way but now I'm stubbornly determined to find the answer.

If you google "binding a quilt" you will find all sorts of tutorials leading you to individual blogs and youtube videos. Missouri Star has a video up about their "binding tool" too.

My favorite Youtube video is "The Barb Sackel Way" for finishing binding. She has is start to finish in a two-part video. Very clear instruction.

What is the old fashioned way?

Here's a Youtube video of the method I used to use:

until I found this one (but may be too late for your current quilt):

Here are the Barb Sackel videos that were mentioned:

Thanks. The youtube video was exactly what was needed. I tried once more to solve the problem right after I posted and managed to resolve the problem and the video confirmed that.

Did you also try the tutes available on the QB? There should be quite a few.
