    That is a beautiful quilt and hard to believe it's your first one. IMO you are 70 yrs YOUNG and I can't wait to see your next quilt. This is a quilt to be most proud of.

    brenda, that is not applique, i'm not good at that either. it is done on embroidery machine and that takes no talent whatsoever, the machine has a brain, not me, lol. but thanks for all the compliments.

    Friend of mine just wrote his book at 90 and on number 5 at 97.
    Sew keep up the fabulouse heirloom quilt.

    I am 71 and I only started 2 years ago and I have made over 50 quilts in that length of time. I know what you mean I wish I had of started 40 years ago too. Your quilt is magnificent, I have never make anything to compare to it. Did you have a pattern or is it your design? Love the colors and the design. You have plenty of time to make a lot more quilts. Keep up the good work. Josie
