Welcome from Delaware! And I also have a baby lock that I absolutely love. I got the Crescendo because I knew I wanted to quilt and it was exactly what I was looking for. Now I'm going for the Crown Jewel 10 foot long arm quilter and realize I could have saved some money on a smaller regular machine. I don't regret my Crescendo at all! I'm sure you will love whichever you choose. Congrats on getting a new machine.

I have the Babylock Serenade & I love my machine. You need to take a look at what you are wanting to be doing in a year. Then decide which will best fit your needs now & possibly in the future. It's a lot of $ any way you look at it. But, I feel it was $ well spent. Good Luck on your decision. Hugs & welcome.

Well, after my researching and finding what I thought was a great machine for ME, I've ordered the Juki F600 and I can't wait to get it. Should be here on Friday, according to UPS. Make for a great weekend to play and get used to the machine.

Thanks for all the feedback and welcomes!

The Sophia only comes wiith a 4" hoop. You will soon find out you want a bigger hoop. I bought an Ellure Plus and upgraded the next day to the Ellageo Plus. I just wanted more. The Ellure plus would be better than the Sophia. I wish the Spirit was available when I got my machine. It is an embroidery only machine. You can go to the Babylovk website and do a comparison of the different machines. Nice feature. I also like BL dealer support.

I have a HVT50 sewing/embroidery machine and love it! Yet saw the BL Sofia 2 and could not resist getting it. It's great for retreats; small yet sturdy w plenty modern bells and whistles Great sale price too. My new toy😎
