Welcome with a warning Kitty, quilting is addicting! Then too, I can't think of a nicer vice.

Welcome Kitty, you will love this site and always someone to answer any question that you might have. I'm the only one who sews and knits and crochets and embroiders in my family as well. I have 3 daughters, two daughter in laws, four sister in laws and none of them sew or craft. However, I have 6 gr. daughters and numerous nieces and several of them are showing interest in learning my crafts. Especially sewing and knitting and cooking. It's nice to be able to pass along your craft to others.

I had my granddaughter over this weekend and I think maybe she might have a interest in my crafts :P . She always wants to see and help with what i am doing(her mother never was that way  ) Now mind you she is only 3 but she loves the sweaters and hats I knitt for her. She wont even wear any sweater unless I make it  . She had me up at 7 in the morning and we where sitting watching her cartoons and all she kept telling me was make my sweater mamaw and kept pointing at it telling me to get to work on it  . So I have been very busy tring to get this one done, her other ones are to little for her so I am busy on it. She is mamaws sweet princess  .

Well here some of them are. There will be sashing between each block and they will be set on a diagonal. Like I said I am learning with every block I make.

Very nice work. You are a pro already. I really like your color choices. Post a pic of your gr. babies sweater when you finish it too. Would love to see it. I'm not much good with sweaters, have made a couple but nothing to brag about. I'm much better with hats , scarves, mits, and the occasional blanket. Aren't gr. kids just the best? They are truly our reward for putting up with their parents....lol
