Welcome from Dallas Tx. Your machines are so pretty. Nothing like these old babies.

They are all great, but that zig-zag is awesome! I love that space age/robot look. Enjoy them all, and welcome to the QB.

Glad you could join us!! welcome from North Dakota and hope you find many more Kenmores to follow you home. I had 1 that I purchased on an auction sale for $5 with cabinet, feet, sewing basket, instruction manual and all. I had to make room for my 201 Singer in a cabinet so I gave her to my good friend who is using the Kenmore to teach young girls to sew. It sewed like a dream too. I am just partial to singers.

I think the ZigZag is really pretty. I love the color but compared to the Model 50 it's persnikity. haha Lets say i'm still learning how to switch and work with the different cams it came with. I grew up with an 80's Bernina (moms) so i'm more familiar with that machine than any other. I once sewed on a Singer but that was in home ec during junior high, it was a required class for both boys and girls.

I quote your closing sentence in your original post, "I look forward to meeting all of y'all. "

That sounds more than a bit southern to me so....welcome from another southerner. See you 'round the thrift shops and here on the board.
