I usually come back with the same answer your friend gave. My DH collects vintage hunting and fishing stuff.... $$$$.... so no problem getting another machine.

My DH no longer asks me the "how many" question. The last time he asked me I told him "way over 100". He did not believe me but I was telling him the truth and he thought I was kidding.

My hubby knows better to ask me that.. he is a collector of fishing poles, tools, guns, you name it! He taught me three magic little words when someone asks that questions. "Just one more."

Well, you can try looking all dewy eyed and dreamy, then smile and say "One to celebrate each wonderful year of being married to you."

But then you'll have to think up a new story for use after you exceed 33 machines. LOL
