    I think she did fantastic in choosing the fabrics. She went through my stash and made her selections and luckily I had a large piece of the brown and it's used on all the bird houses like in the roofs, holes, and perches. We went to Joann's to pick out the sashing fabric and she chose that one. Wasn't really thinking about it going with the brown but it's perfect. It's like the sashing blocks are the branches and the sashing is the foliage.

    Both quilts are absolutely gorgeous! My only thought is that you should have gotten blue in your category! Hard to believe another quilt could have been better!!
