Ladies, I am sorry for the delay and I do appreciate your kindness and understanding. I mailed the two tops I had to Karen today. I hope you like the borders I added. I didn't want to post pictures and spoil the surprise.

I was in a round robin in our guild a few years ago, and it was such fun! I think we passed the brown bags 5 times. Have fun with it! Mariah.

Thanks Nancy, that is exactly what I was trying to do. Bring the center out to the final edge without taking away from Paula's beautiful center. I stayed with the batiks also. I think the brighter blue center is a hand dyed fabric. There are some beautiful fabrics in Paula's quilt.

I haven't seen your top in awhile. I can't wait to see it come together.

Thanks Mariah. Our quilt tops are almost at the end of their journey. You'll have to come back and see the rest as they start coming home.

Dragonflynana you inspired me to peak here and well I just read 13 pages of excitement and fun and awe that everyone experienced and now I have through the eyes of a peeping brat! I love what everyone is doing/has done. Each quilt was inspiration for something totally different. I can not wait to start my own center block!

Judith the blocks in your round are exceptional and they were the perfect thing to finish my top. I am going to bind right there (after I quilt it that is) because anything I add would take away from your round.

Elisabrat - glad you stopped by to check out our fun. These are some talented ladies that I have had the privilege to get to know as we enjoy this journey.

    Hi Ladies,

I just want to let you all know that I received my quilt top back today. It is absolute perfect! I LOVE it. I am grinning from ear to ear.

Paula, I love how your round brought in the gold and MY love of polka dots.

SewHappy, I love how you brought back the turquoise and framed the first two rounds. I LOVE the turquoise fabric you brought in.

TamMoo, I Love the fun squares you used. I love the solid turquoise fabric you used. How fun to bring solids in! I love it. I also love how you added in the corner squares with some fun embroidery.

YaYa, I absolutely love your Tipped Bricks border. I HAVE to try this someday. I love the bright and cheery yellow you brought in. And, I love that you also used red polka dots in a slightly different size. Can you say "squeal" with delight.

Nancy, I love how you framed the whole thing with the beautiful buttery gold yellow solid. I am starting to just LOVE solids. I love the thin center border print. So fun. Your cornerstones, are perfect. I LOVE them. Are they apples or cherries? Hm, I could call my quilt Cherries Jubilee or Apple of my eye. Any votes one way or the other? I love there tiny little stems and leaves. I am still smiling.

I cannot thank you all enough. My finished quilt top has brought a smile to my face. It is perfect. I LOVE it. You have all made this one of the best experiences of my life. And, I can't thank you enough.

I had thought to add a final border on it when it came home. But, Like Paula, I just think it looks perfect the way it is. I LOVE it and can't wait to finish it. It makes me sooo happy to just see. I love it and it is perfect!! Thank You ALL!!

Nancy, if you have a better photo that shows off the WHOLE quilt at one time, can you post. This is the best I can get.

I have a picture of the whole quilt, but it isn't really a lot different and the crazy thing is-I changed my pictures format and have to ask my friend how to set it up to be able to get them here on the board again. Will do that soon! It might make a difference to Paula-give me a few days here and I'll post it.
They are cherries! I tried to make them like the ones in your center fabric and I thought too that they so resemble apples, and I guess the size is the biggest difference and you can't define that too well.
I think the quilt has a softer look than it shows in photos? Probably just me, anyway it is lovely and I'm glad you think so, too, and that it is home at last!!

You might spoil the surprise, but it is killing me at the same time!! I will be patient-and I'm glad you are finished and hope you are on the go at full speed again. Nancy.
