    Default My current projects...

I started school in January and my "quilting" time all but disappeared. I was finally starting to have things under control and making time to quilt, when my Aunt went into the hospital a few months ago. It has been a very stressful and emotionally draining year so far, but I am finally able to get back to my sewing machine... :-)

I completed the rail fence top about 3 years ago, started quilting and messed up so I put it away for later... It is now later, lol. I have it about 1/4 of the way quilted now in a very simple cross hatch design.

The rag quilt is just upcycled denim that I have been saving up with leftover fleece from other projects. All that needs to be done is to clip the seams and it will be complete. :-)

I love the denim/fleece quilt. I may just have to try one of those with all of my fleece/ denim scraps. Thanks so much for sharing.

I wanted something quick and easy to get me back in the swing of things and this worked out perfectly. Plus I finally found a use for my fleece scraps. :-)
