Thank you so much for posting this site. I am always at a loss as to how to display quilts. Makes me want to go out and get some shelving and do it right. I love all of her ideas.

It's more rewarding to give the quilts away to make someone feel loved.

that's kind of a put-down, isn't it? no point in laying a guilt trip on someone, do you think?

Ah, someday!! As a newish quilter, so far, all my quilts have been made for specific family members. One day I'll make some that I'll be able to keep. I saw this on somewhere, Pinerest?? But love it! LOL, maybe I saw it on QB????

love the quilt rack! I do give many of my quilts to family and friends...but I also make them for my husband and I as well as my guests who visit....quilts for the couches for the granddogs, the beach, picnics, wall hanging, ottoman, quilts for my granddaughter when she visits as well as my boys and daughter law...its freezing in the winter and we keep our heat down low...I have quilts for our beds, I like to switch them out by seasons....so yes...I need a place to store the quilts I make for my home. Its my hobby so yup I pay for the material, make them and have them in my home. ; )

I collect antique quilts as well as quilts I've made over the years all over my home; hanging on quilt racks, on a ladder, over the back of my recliner, hanging on my walls and, of course, on my bed. Always happy to see new ideas. The furniture pieces in the link you shared are gorgeous.
