    Default Brother Nouvelle 1500s Manual

    Hello,
I just bought a used Brother Nouvelle 1500s but it did not come with a manual. Does anybody know where I can order one?
    Thank you
    Judy

Have you ck'd the Brother site? They have free D/Ls in PDF. You could print it yourself. Or this site http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/ins...-pq-1500s.aspx sells the D/L (PDF) for $14.99....51 pages. Guess you know what I would do!

I hate spending that much on a manual but I hate printing that much too. Might just pay it. I only paid $200 for this machine so I guess another $20 isn't too bad.

    Thank you for the info.

You got a great deal! The machine is so simple, the only thing that I found beneficial in the manual is where to oil it.
I would read the thing online and just print what is relevant.
    Enjoy your machine!

If the manual is in PDF just save it to you computer then bring up to read whenever you want.

For me, it seems to vary depending on batting and such. I test it out on a practice piece every time I do it. Generally, I end up with the tension around 2 most of the time.

Mine came with a quick read threading guide. I use it the most even after having the machine for years. LOL I do a test for fmq on each quilt. When the stitches look good top and back and the quilt moves easily with the right pressure set then that is the setting I use.
