Can you tell me where you found an imatation bentwood case, I have a singeer 66 red eye, and would like to find a bentwood case for it, and I don't care if it is not an old one. Thanks.

The reproduction cases were readily available 8-10 years ago. I just did an Internet search and couldn't find any. that's the problem with imports from China: feast or famine. If China makes it this year, there's a glut of it. When that supply dries up, good luck finding it. True whether it's clothing, fabric, housewares, shoes, or sewing machines. 8-10 years ago, those cases were sold on ebay and at all Singer dealers and AllBrands, etc.

Ok here is one of mine. The rest are hiding their ugly heads on a shelf... This one is a light weight - about 11 lbs. It still has an original tag from when it was bought. The case weighs more than the machine.

I don't know if I can get lucky and post another picture of the machine.

She looks adorable with her little doily! I need another machine like I need another hole in my head but I sure would have a hard time passing that one up. I love the fact that it has that pamphlet hanging there.

    SB13,

I got that one at my LSMG. If my memory is working he charged me $20.00 or $30.00 for it.

    Miriam.
Nice Domestic. The more machines I get the more I really like the old White made machines. They might be ugly, but they sure sew nice.

Oh, if they are still on the shelf, you could take a pic of the ones in your shop and post it. Maybe someone would want to adopt them.

I should take pics of the ones on the shelf. I just can't wild about them. There are a couple other machines up there, too. I figure if they set around long enough maybe they will grow on me... I think about 10 or 12 machines in all. Then there are Singer 15 machines with potted motors that I haven't touched. There has been a lot to do anyway.

Ok, I'll play. I got this machine WAY back in the beginning of my sewing machine obsession...
