I have never seen this pattern before but it does look like fun so maybe I will have to find the templates also. Thanks for sharing such a great tutorial on this.

Has anyone tried this using the Accuquilt hexagon die - the one with three on them? I do not have that one but if it would work doing this I may get it.

I just ordered the hexagon...the one with all three of them from Joann's since it was on sale. I am going to try this method and will let you now how it works. I am still a bit unclear how I am going to sew them by machine together zigzag?

I would love to see pictures of what others have made. I also am thinking to use fusible on the larger hexagon, and use the smaller one for the batting, backing and then iron. then sew them together...my mind is rolling...

Super photos. I have that set because I enjoy anything hexie. I had no idea they were to be used in combo like this. Will make a few tonight just for a mug rug. Thanks.
