I can't believe I'm seeing this quilt now. I saw instructions for it awhile back. I had just bagged up 6-8 prs. of my husband's jeans. (lost him 5 yrs. ago but still had these jeans). I carried them around in the car for wks. to go to a thrift store til I saw this pattern. Brought them back into the house. Guess they just weren't ready to leave yet.
Seeing your quilt inspires me to go ahead with my plan to make this quilt. I had made a Ragtime quilt earlier but it was so heavy I ended up tossing it. Is yours very heavy?
Great job.

What a good idea! I can see teenagers really liking this quilt, too. The fraying looks great!

Neat quilt. Did you have to cut any of the denim after sewing together or just let the washing machine fray the edges? I can't imagine anyone from the age of 2 up not liking this quilt. I'm assuming that you did not use any sort of batting? Of course you know what the assume word does? Hugs

Just finished a denim rag quilt. Didn't think about doing it with cathedral windows. I caused myself a lot of extra work, but much less bother in the washing machine. I fringed all of the edges, rather than clipping them. They turned out very soft with no little pieces of thread. Don't think I'll do another one for quite some time.

Great quilt. I made my grandson an I spy several years ago. I used several of the same fabrics that you used. I make a game of looking at fabric in scrappy quilts to see If I have ever used any like it.

Very nice, I love denim & novelty fabric. The children are sure to enjoy it.
