Wow is this the same group of people who do not think their time and experience is valued when they are quilting?

The dress is beautiful. I am sure it took more than 4 hours to complete from shopping for fabrics and pattern (or drafting the pattern), to being able to dress your lovely little one. What are skilled crafts people paid in your area?

I can not afford to pay $84.00 for a dress for a toddler, but that does not mean it is not worth that amount.

OP it is wonderful that you have the skill and time to be able to replicate an expensive dress. I can see your granddaughter having many more in the future.

some people have more money than time and sewing skills. Gives talented people like yourself a market ;-)

How adorable .. I was at a crafty boutique and they wanted BIG bucks for some little girl dresses, but it did give me some ideas for sure ...

Your DGD is a little doll. I love the dress, it looks like you paid a lot for it. I am now making dresses as a birthday gift for mine for her third birthday. If you are like me it is so much fun to sew for her.

Absolutely precious, the teeny tiny girl and the dress.

That is what is so much fun about sewing. I used to do that all the time with my daughters. Little girls are so adorable and put in a dress they are irresistible. You did a great job on the dress.

    Madame,
YOU ARE CREATING A FUTURE DIVA!!! And that is WONDERFUL!!! I love the fact that you made this, I love photo of your beautiful little one, and I love the dress. I can see how that would be $84 in a very upscale store, as it is gorgeous!
    Keep up the beautiful creations.
