Now I know why I haven't joined a guild. To me quilting or any other hobby for that matter is for the enjoyment of doing it. Yes I think if you're interested in it enough you would want to better your skills at it but to have someone tell you "your" style is wrong, well sorry that's just pure and simple wrong!!! You go girl and walk down your own path. The only one you have to please is yourself. I make up stuff in my head all the time and try to put it to fabric, sometimes it works....sometimes not, but I tell myself if it's a not.

Thank you all for the warm wishes for little Hattie. I am blessed to be so close to her and her parents that I can hold her, and for her to be healthy, and hopefully she is done with the colic, she had a good night last night.

MaryMo sorry you had to endure that delusional person. I wouldn't call her a chief of anything, she clearly is misguided. But I suspect that as long as there have been quilts and quilters there have been some self appointed pita persons imposing their opinions on others. Hope the sting goes away quickly! I have a couple of 30's FQ ready but need to get out and get some more for my quota. Thanks Brenda for advance info. With enough advance notice we can even order online if needed.

Well, she's the best. I got these pics today. Couldn't wait to post them they are the FQ's I received from Auntpiggylpn and kathymarie (respectively). Thank you both sooooo much. Can't wait to get home and start a new block (or two) with them.

I am not sure what 30's is? And i am not sure if I have any? Can someone help? I would really hate to sit out a month, I like retail therapy and would get some material.
