    I am generally drawn to a darker binding, without knowing the color of your blue, I vote red.

    I almost always use the flange binding, it is not difficult at all and it seems to tie it. I love the quilt, it is very pretty and very well done.

    I would use the blue for a border, then red binding. This repeats what you have going on in the center and gives balance and cohesiveness to the quilt.

    Red, because it would echo the 'framing' used in the center.

    I like the red. It just pops and with the red framing in the center, it would look great!

    Any of those would work, but perhaps a blue to go with the backing fabric. Very nice quilt.
