Default Leggings For Life - For Special Needs animals

Every day I answer two Trivia Questions for FREEKIBBLE to donate pet food to Animal Shelters. One does not have to know the correct answer. The question for 6-27-13 was about a cat born with deformities in rear legs. The link for the video and information about the group is Mother Nature News http://www.mnn.com/family/pets/stori...ampaign=June27 I have extra yarn and am going to contact them to see if they can use it. Since so many of us have cats, I thought it might be of interest. There is a Facebook page also.

Thank you so much for posting this, years ago I had a Siamese cat that gave birth to a deformed kitten. There must have been more wrong with the beautiful baby because the mom kept pushing it aside. I held it to nurse every hour for the first three days but then it stopped wanting to nurse and finally passed quietly. It's good to see how true love devised leggings to help the helpless babies. I have some yarn from my failed attempt to learn to knit so I will also see if they are interested in receiving a gift. Thanks again.

I love your Avatar. We all need to do this, that way there would be much much less animals in the shelter that way, and they would not have to be put to sleep. I personally have rescued kittens and dogs from a shelter that is about 45 miles from my house and 1 time I got one from a shelter that is a little farther from my house but I did not care, this little shih-Tzu was so matted they could not tell if it was a boy or girl and was aggressive toward them. I took little bites of chicken and it did not once even tried to be aggressive toward me, I brought him with me needless to say.

FYI there is an "Animal Rescue Site" that I get a daily reminder for....just a click a day and you are supporting their cause for free food for shelter animals, etc. It is a neat site and we can all help with one click a day......every little bit helps. I think everyone on this board loves animals, so we should help by clicking away.
