Absolutely not!!! I learned my lesson about lending out when a friend borrowed my electric typewriter and it came back, finally, damaged. Never again. There are so many good quality basic machines out there at reasonable prices. She can buy her own.

I would NEVER NEVER loan any of my machines someone ask to rent one once and I even refused that I totally agree with the person who said that lending a machine would be like seeing a woman on the back of hubbys harley

I have lent my machine (Juki 98TL) but I would definitely not loan my Bernina 820. First of all, it is too heavy to lift & carry & without me being there it definitely would not leave my house.

The only one that uses my machines is my older brother. He's been using sewing machines a few more years then I have. He can repair any thing that needs it And there isn't a machine out there he can't operate.
