    Cut the edges off the wedges and make squares out of them. Just a thought.

    Your quilt is lovely as usual. It is also known as "Pioneer Braid". Much easier to just start with a triangle, sew on your strips and then cut the edges. This also makes a lovely border. Keep up the good work!!

    I like your quilt very much, it looks like a neat little tool, I hope that you would reconsider and do one in warm fall colors, you did a wonderful job.

    I saw a video that used a binding tool to cut jelly rolls into strips and was going to do that, until my quilting teacher said that the edges would all be bias and hard to handle. The tool you show looks like the same issue. I am making a king sized braided quilt, and did not use the tool - easy to put together.
