How old is your Mother ? Mine is 98 after she retired from 35 plus years in banking she took drawing classes. These led her to oil painting the porcelain art. My sister does all that plus crochet and knitting and gardening... My stabs at talent are quilting, embroidery, needlepoint, petit point, crewel, and bead work.. Like to cook also. Both my Grandmothers quilted. Neither of my daughters do needle work so I am hoping my GD, age 8 will learn !!!! Hugs

What a wonderful experience to have your sisters and your mom not only visit, but sew together and enjoy a show together. It looks like very special memories where made, you are so lucky, families are everything!

No, it is not a dreadful picture! It is beautiful, and so inviting, I wish I could have been a part of it! It takes me back to a time when I did projects with others. All of the work is beautiful, and you are all so fortunate to have each other, and to all share the same talents and interests! And kudos to Mom for her part in the sew along! It must have been a great week!

Just how cool is that. Thanks for sharing pictures and story. I lost my mom in 1990, and she sewed, but have never had a sister. That would be so much fun I think to have a family group like that enjoying the same craft. I know you all really had a blast, and did get a lot done. So nice you could get together. Glad your mom could join in. The thread sketching is absolutely beautiful. Enjoy your time together in the fall and Thanks for sharing with us.
