    I have that pattern and a half finished top wadded up and tossed in the back of my closet!! Needless to say I do NOT have the patience of Job or anyone else for that matter! Any your start is beautiful. I admire your spunk and if these pix are any indication, your sis is going to love that quilt! You're doing great from what isee, so keep at it!

    Plenty of Y seams on that blasted thing. I couldn't get my squares to fit, no matter how I tried because if those Ys !!

    For a beginner, that's out of site. Wonderful. You will go a long way quilting with that to start with.

    Your first quilt? Seriously? Well, you must enjoy a challenge, as it looks amazing. Keep going - no advice other than 'don't stop'! It looks wonderful.
