Default half way done cleaning out my sewing room

There was no way I was going to take a picture of the before...I have been cleaning out my sewing room. Way to much junk and catch all room. I am half way done...its getting there. We also have been having our kitchen redone so there are things in my room that should not be...not too much candles cook books etc. Any how I got motivated by seeing some the the girls here clean up there rooms. I figured I would take a few pictures to help me finished it tomorrow. hmmm.....trying to load the pictures...

Well I got one posted. Oh well...here is the side of the room that has my sewing table. The other side is a desk with my dies, ironing board, treadmill and loom. I still have to fold my fabrics better and still straighten out my shelves. I gave a bunch of stuff away. It does not take long to fill those shelves. I went nuts buying stuff...now slimming it down...way to over crowded. I was getting overwhelmed walking in the room. Its getting there.

It's looking pretty good! Did you find all kinds of things you didn't know you had?

yup found my glasses and all kinds of stuff I lost. I am trying to make room for an old TV cabinet that we used for Pots and pans and a coffee maker. I can't wait to fill it with fabric. i just need to move the massage chair...waste of money that was...too low. We paid too much for it to get rid of it...I do use it here and there...its going to find a new home.

Lookin' good! I agree, when my sewing or stamp rooms are cluttered, I can't be creative.

It's so welcoming and useable -- I like the intensity of the color on the walls, and the shelving around the top of the room. I could sit for hours in a room this wonderful, and make the next colorful quilts. I think the room is "soul-satisfying" and reflects the personality of a very interesting person. YOU!!

Well set up sewing area. Love the shelves.

My favorite thing is looking at others sewing areas. Yours is wonderful.
