Default Singer Touch and Sew model 756

Hi, I just recently acquired a Singer Touch and Sew model 756. I picked it up at a thrift store where it was marked$1.99, as is for parts. I picked it up to look at it and sees if I can get it working. However I could not find the for pedal/power cord. Does anyone know where I can get one of these, cheaply? I looked on eBay, but the majority of them were$50 or more! I am without a job at the moment, so need something cheap. I would really like to test this machine and sees what needs to be fixed on it. Also, where can I get a manual? Does anyone have an old spare laying around? Lol, thanks!
