It is from the book "40 Bright and Bold Paperpieced Blocks" by Carol Doak. It is the #18 block in this book. I made it for a Boom 9 swap buddy. It was my favorite one I made in that swap. She sent the multi colored fabric and I scroungex my stash for the rest. I absolutely love how it turned out.....

oh oh we are at the end! today we find out about our groups. This is exciting!!! I havent even done my center yet but have narrowed it down. First I want to sort my fabrics they got totally mangled in the move and I have no clue what I have anymore. Its frustrating. I am dedicating Wed to working on the other round robin, Jan's block. I picked up a pretty green and a pretty ivory with gold in them to use. Now to figure out the pattern... does anyone one here have a border book they like? there are a few and its hard to know which is the best one vs looks pretty nothing in it.

This is my center...it is from a 'miniature swap' a while back, haven't made it up yet...so this is a good way to get it done....it will be 18.5 inches square (hopefully :-)....)
