    Wow! I like it. I kind of like the diamonds that go across instead of all of them being up and down. It's kind of funkier that way.

    yea, I kinda like it too. I think even without those dark strips on the vertical ends, it still has a 3D look about it.
    Would love to see the finished top!

    Your finished quilt is absolutely awesome. And now we know "the rest of the story" so to speak. It is now permanent on my bucket list and I may move it to number 1 status. thanks.
