I had a good laugh about the slippers also, Thats why I posted that page.

A rare find LOLOL...or more like a novelty item LOL.. I'm using it now, doing denim, it doesn't even know those fat seams are there. only thing I don't like is 50% of the time I do have to flip the handweel to start, But the belt is the wide type ( 9 / 8 mm ) and it's on the tight side. wider and tighter the belt the harder it ill be to treadle..

I'm sure any 15 clone using this type feed dog drop knob and has the squarish body is made by Totoya.. I see quite a few of those. O there is zero plastic on this thing ..

translation of the manual LOL,, thanks, " Don't need no stinking manuale"

I don't know the research any of you have done on japanese sewing machines,, you have to know they have been at this about as long as ol man singer has, so this marshall plan / act wasn't something new and sewing machine was ony one item on that list, every thing madeunder this was targeted for export to the USA

Interesting....I have a Toyota sewing machine I acquired on eBay several yrs ago. It is not vintage, it is electric, very lite weight, about the size of a FW! But white and much younger than FW. Odd thing, no foot pedal----start/stop button on body of machine. I really don't use it..would like to sell it.....

your toyota with only an on and off ..... IF you have or ever find a machine that has the two plug box in the case , most all these japanese dashboard ( 15 clones) all you need to do is plug the toyota into that, put the switch to on, then use that pedal,, I have a pfaff with this setup an old white , there's several co's that used that method..

my work station is setup with this, all I have to do is switch machines , plug in and use a known good working pedal on all machines..
