Jan Likes the bear so I guess the bear wins. I am not thrilled with the points but maybe she is the magic queen she can make the next round so magnificent that no one will notice. especially since I have now mentioned it

Well girls... the results are in. You can officially refer to me as The "Award-Winning" Mama Hauser... I placed 1st and 2nd with two of my favorite quilts and 1st with a cross stitch design about death and coffee.

First off, Kelly - congrats on the awards and stuff. You rock!

I'll just tell y'all right now that I'm horrible about remembering to check in on this board (I'm more of a facebook junkie) so if you need to get a hold of me, send me a message so that it goes to my email. My life is crazy hectic and chaotic with 5 kids in 2 school districts, and I'm getting ready to start a full time 45h/w job on Monday..... sooooooo...... feel free to nag me to get things done. Kelly you will need a storage unit if you keep ALL the quilts you make! Jan has this rack in her sewing room where she hangs them.. then when her kids come home for the holidays they raid it. You had best hide yours when yours grow older or you too may be subject to theft from your own loved ones!

I gave Jan the bear to work on .. did I take a pic of it first? NO sigh its not that grand but its now getting round two on it. I will have to ask her to photo it before she sews away. if she hasn't already. what a dork I am! blues, browns, cream, gold (as in vintage cream) and forest green, hints of cranberry.. your going woodsy ladies on this one for me.

Thank you Jan! boy your hired official photographer for me! love your center that is a totally different set of color play for us to work with. so far lets see black yellow, red harversters, blue brown bears, yellow moss beige.. wonder what the others will be using? any ideas yet ladies?

Okay miss brat this is what I have come up with but no matter how I turn it the corners don't come out the same. Had to use the seam ripper 3 times today and nothing works out right. What do you think, you either like it this way or I take off the 4 corner 9 patches and replace them. What do you think??
