When I read Patrice's statement I wasn't thinking 'dancing'! I was thinking I was going to buy some chickens so they'd EAT UP all the nasty June Bugs who are eating everything up!

Which is it Patrice - eat 'em up or dance with 'em?

Nan chickens think any bug is a gourmet meal raised them for years but if you get them make sure you block chickens from garden or they will eat that too.

PatriceJ - thank you for your answer back to this post and all the work you do!!! I know it must be an enormous task to keep the membership in order. And you statement above is so true - I'm sure there are many members like me who read the posts daily but don't always log in and/or make comments. As I do work fulltime, the most "popular posts email" that I receive daily is a real stress relief for me each day and most of the time all I have time to read! I have learned way more on this board than I've ever learned in classes! So keep me on the membership list please!! It is a joy for me to read all the wonderful posts by quilters helping the newbies and encouraging others to not give up on their projects! Hugz to everyone!

On re-reading my posting this morning, I see it does sound like I'm whining. I didn't intend it that way, I was just frustrated from trying to find a member on the listing and felt overwhelmed. And I appreciate the hard work that is done on this site moderating.

I'm not computer savee and very seldom post but check the board 3 times a day to see what is new. I always worry that I'll do something wrong if I post. Sometime I'm going to have my sister or my nephew help me post some pictures of a few of my quilts.

(Now I've made a post and will be good for another year)

    a) if one can remember any part of a board member's name -

    b) click on "Board Members" (it's in light type on a dark bar near the top of the page) - then a new 'drop down' screen appears

    c) in tiny tiny blue type under the W X Y Z boxes, there are the words "search members" - click on that -

    d) then a box appears - click on the BLACK "Search" - then type in the name - or what you can remember of it -

    e) Then click on the word "Search" that is in white type in the little BLUE box

Then a 'short list' that contains what you entered appears that might make your search for a particular member easier

    f) click on the name that you want

I have been reading QB for many months now and this is my first post. Please don't remove me simply because I don't post. QB is so much fun to read, so many beautiful quilt pictures, so many helpful hints and links. Many evenings this is my entertainment, in fact, am watching the Detroit Tigers at the moment and checking out QB! I can't be the only one who reads and doesn't post

I also read way more than I post. This is where I spend my last waking hours of the day....reading the QB while having an adult beverage. I go here first when I am looking for anything to do with quilting. Please keep me on board coz I love being here.
