Well, in the end, I provided absolutely no competition for you guys for the batiks!! No loss, no gain. I went back to the gym last night. I didn't do any weights but managed to stay on the bike for 20 mins (which was my personal goal for my first night back) so I'm pleased with that. I also did not snack before bed, which is huge for me, so again, I'm happy with that. Also, my last grocery shopping trip was great, lots of healthy foods and no junk food. Well, I take that back. I did get the ingredients for a Jell-O dessert I saw in the Sunday paper and am making that. But no ice cream, no chocolate, no cookies, so I feel good about that.

Here's to a fresh month for healthy choices.

You make me very curious, Cindy.

I had planned on having a caramel frappe today to celebrate a month without one. Guess what? I went to coffee this morning - didn't order one. Drove by Dairy Queen - didn't pull in. Drove by McDonald's - nope. Did I actually form a new habit? That would ALMOST as exciting as winning the batiks.

    Positive thinking: I am a winner, I am a winner, I am a winner.

    Great job Irishrose.

You are creating a good habit by driving past those places and going for the coffee instead of the caramel frappe. Good for you. Keep up the good work.

Um I just now remembered. Hubby went with me today to my Dr. for me to get script refills, and a couple of referrals to specialists. Well, they always weigh everyone. I had lost 4 pounds, but it was not showing on my scale at home which is new by the way. I don't expect to win, but I am happy that I lost.

Congratulations Meanmom! So proud for you. Losing 2 lbs. was a struggle for me this past month. I'll take any loss, but I just like the bigger numbers. haha
