Hehe, don't mind being a guinea pig, DQ's are the best way to try out new designs and techniques. I too tried something different and I'm on the fence whether I like it or not. Decided to leave it alone for a day or two and come back to it and then see if I like it.

That is exactly what I am doing. Got it done, just some final assembly, and can't make a decision on how to do it. I figure it will stand up and tell me what it wants, I just have to give it a chance! Love this theme.

You ARE fast! Yours is pieced and put together, but that's it for the moment...hopefully by Friday I can mail out to you. Be watching for a sneak peek.

My first time involved with making a doll quilt, I am nervous and excited all at the same time. My daughter will be helping me out.

LucyLou512...welcome! You'll find it's fun and this is a great group. You'll learn a lot, as you can experiment with new techniques on these small projects. This month's theme is sure to result in some lovely doll quilts!

I think she is not impressed. square one? probably argh. its too.. hippy like perhaps for her tastes which might mean it is for createfourpaws too. I saw a flower. what do I know? maybe I need more beer. lots of it. like a whole case to see things in a bright bold but sane way? me I have to get hootched to get sane go figure.

go with what you have started. I may suprise you and like it more than you think. I am an outside the box kinda quilter.........I rarely follow some of the quilting rules.....i put colors together that people say will never work and in the end they do work.

Miss Brat is full of it! I thought it looked great, I hope she finishes it for you, I'd sure hang it in my house. Nice bright colors for my kitchen....
