Elk Grove Village is the town that O'Hare Airport is in...sounds like it got stuck at the airport facility? Used to live nearby...need to see friends. Maybe I can fly up and boost it out

Sharon the quilt you received from Theresa "IS" a real beauty! That's a real neat pattern that you received from her too. The translation of a Minnesota "hot dish" is what other people refer to as a casserole. You are one lucky gal!!

Just returned home from an extended visit on the east coast. Grandma Di, got your gorgeous quilt. Will post a picture later tonight. As I told you, I robbed a friends stash while visiting so I just need to quilt and bind then it will be on it's way to you. Thanks for being understanding.

My doll quilt is on it's journey to Australia to Lynnie25. Sounds like we mailed them the same day, let's see who's arrives first, hehe. I hope you like it Lyn, (yikes!)

All the little treasures that are showing up are so cute. You all do great work.

The lady in the post office was super impressed and said 'Wow, you have been busy this month' noting I was sending 2 packages LOL so look out USA, Lynnie's quilts are bombarding a whole lot of states

Now while our walking group was out walking (well we had just left the coffee shop...hehehehe) midway through our walk, we passed a thrift shop and in the window was a BLACK AND WHITE patterned skirt...so I ducked in to the shop, pounced on the skirt, sniffed it, patted it and paid over a handsomely sum of $2 for some lovely panels of b&w fabrics. Hated to disappoint the shop lady when she asked if it would be the right size by saying by day's end it would be washed and snipped into lovely strips ready for sewing so I just said 'I'm sure it will be' Meanwhile my friends were standing on the footpath laughing hysterically - just shows they really don't know a good bargain when they see it right in front of their eyes !!!
