I have seen pictures of this quilt. It is so beautiful. I want to know if it is only given at a sewing center? I cannot find one close and would like to know some details about this quilt. Thanks

Yes, I love this quilt also. I would like to know if the only place you can do this quilt is at a sewing center. Is all the blocks the same size

    Thanks Brenda

I did this quilt a couple of years ago. I have the blocks completed but never put together. Of course now I can't find the I instructions to complete...like how big are the inside borders, stuff like that. Does anyone have that info they could pass onto me? Thx so much.

I bought a new machine last November and my machine dealer told me about this BOM. I immediately signed up! This was the year that I wanted to stretch my abilities and know-how. It certainly is doing that! Yes, it demonstrates machine fusible applique, focuses on using those decorative stitches, yes you purchase additional feet and attachments for your machine and learn how to use them . While I am enjoying the process, it forces me to slow down and pay attention! I can chain piece all day long but this project really does challenge my patience ..in a good way. It takes me the entire month to get my block done! I do work on other projects in between steps.

Fortunately I have tons of batik scraps so it is not as "expensive" to buy fabric. The feet and attachments do drive up the cost but hey, might as well learn some new techniques!

I see that I commented a long time ago about my friend doing this quilt several years ago. The LQS offered it again year a year, or so, ago and I did it in batiks. It is beautiful! Well...I should say, my blocks are beautiful. It is at the top of my list of things to finish now that I'm retired. (Been retired for only 2 weeks). I learned so much doing this one and enjoyed every minute!

I have been working on these too through our LQS. Just completed month 4 (two blocks). Really enjoy learning new techniques and using the decorative stitches.
