I love the quilt! I make "easy" quilts most of the time - they get done! Plus I like the simplicity of their look. I admire the really complex quilts, the skill involved in creating them, etc.,and think they're gorgeous, too, but the simple ones give me more of a feeling of peace. I think it is perfect for your friend!
