It's a beautiful block. Although I don't do hand quilting now because of my carpal tunnel caused by too many years as a secretary, but I started out with the stab stitch quilting, then learned the more normal way to quilt later. I was a self-taught quilter, and I had such tiny, tiny stitches back then too.

Stab stitching is a way of hand quilting. I can't master getting multiple stitches on the needle, then pulling the needle through. So I just poke the needle vertically down through the quilt and poke it up through again! One stitch at a time but works or me! Just keep the needle vertical.
